A celebration of childhood memories, this book is based on a poem by Elsbery W. Reynolds.
We would like to be a boy again
And wish we were a man
__
We would like to drop our hook again
From the old bridges span
__
We would like to stick our hand again
In that old rusty can
__
We would like to hear the swish again of hornets near the dam
__
We would like to eat our fill again
Of slabs of bread and cherry jam
__
It sure would be good fun again
Just to be a boy again
And wish we were a man

Unique mixed media artist's book; found photographs and fish images; sewing pattern paper. Modified accordion structure presented in a sardine can. {SOLD}
