Sunday in the Courtyard at LACMA is an exploration of alternate perspectives. Photos taken from above capture visitors in the courtyard of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The people, their shadows, and the courtyard grid create a changing kaleidoscope of humanity. The voyeuristic perspective allows the viewer a snapshot of interactions and the hint of individual stories. This accordion fold book is designed to be displayed while listening to the accompanying CD. Recorded at the time of the photos, this soundscape creates a multi-dimensional experience with environmental cues and the sounds of human interaction.
