Boy Again

We would like to be a boy again and wish we were a man

A celebration of childhood memories, this book is based on a poem by Elsbery W. Reynolds.

We would like to be a boy again

And wish we were a man

We would like to drop our hook again

From the old bridges span

We would like to stick our hand again

In that old rusty can

We would like to hear the swish again of hornets near the dam

We would like to eat our fill again

Of slabs of bread and cherry jam

It sure would be good fun again

Just to be a boy again

And wish we were a man

Unique mixed media artist's book; found photographs and fish images; sewing pattern paper. Modified accordion structure presented in a sardine can.
